Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. The family she was born into fled Afghanistan, and sought refuge in the US. The actress was born there. She is the middle daughter from two siblings, and brought up within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in television by appearing in several National Commercials. Ghanizada was nominated for most outstanding actress in the 2004 film festival for her performance in the Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress performed the role of Chiara. Her TV guest-starring performances comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played an supporting role in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
